Although we never do the work we do for praise, when we receive emails like this our hearts jump to know that we are still able to make a difference to the lives of those around us.
One Foodbank client emailed to say:
“I have just unpacked my food parcels that I received from you today [3rd August] and just want to say that I have been overwhelmed with what I’ve been given.
I can’t thank you enough and am incredibly grateful, thank you for the warm welcome you gave me and [child’s name] today too.
You are all wonderful people doing a wonderful job.”
